Pulmonary circulation occurs when you breathe in fresh oxygen and it enters your blood stream, while carbon dioxide is simultaneously released from the blood.

Your heart acts as a pump, transporting oxygenated blood to your organs, then carrying de-oxygenated blood from your organs back to your lungs to get oxygenated again. And so the cycle continues. This is how blood circulation should work in your body. Obviously, the circulatory system is vital for everyone.
